The OMB Submission module is seamlessly integrated into the eCPIC
solution and provides an easy approach to select investments that will be
electronically submitted to OMB. This module allows authorized users to create
Submission Packages that draw from existing investments and portfolios within
the system. Investments within submission packages are then managed, checked
for errors, validated, and approved prior to electronically submitting to OMB.
Within a submission package, eCPIC reviews each investment to determine
completeness and the validity of data. Review statistics will then highlight
incomplete areas and provide quick access to correct the discrepancy.
The last step within the OMB Submission module facilitates the creation
and validation of each Exhibit 300 XML file and assembles an electronic
Submission Package to support transmission to OMB. Each XML file is validated
against the approved OMB Exhibit 300 XML Schema and associated with each investment
within the submission package.
